You can not change your name online, you will have to follow the offline method in which you need to visit your home branch.

  1. Take a sheet of paper.
  2. Start writing an application letter addressing the branch manager of your Karnataka Bank home branch.
  3. Explain in the letter that you have changed your name and want to update the same in your account.
  4. Mention your bank account number, old name, and your new name.
  5. At the end of the letter also mention the name of the document you are providing as proof. (enclosure)
  6. Take the document that you are providing to the bank and get a clear photocopy of the same.
  7. Make your signature on the photocopy to make it self-attested.
  8. Attach your letter with the photocopy.
  9. Visit your home branch and submit the letter to the bank officials.

But the name will be changed and updated in the bank records only if the verification of the documents by the bank is successful.
