  1. Take the document that has your full date of birth printed.
  2. Get a clear photocopy of the document.
  3. Sign the photocopy to make it self-attested.
  4. Take a sheet of paper and start writing an application letter.
  5. The letter should address the branch manager of your Saraswat Bank home branch.
  6. The subject of the letter should be “Correction of DOB in Bank Account”.
  7. In the body section of the letter explain that your DOB is recorded wrong in the bank records.
  8. Attach the photocopy with your application letter.
  9. Visit your Saraswat Bank home branch and submit the application to the bank officials.


This change or update in the bank records is subject to verification by the bank officials. While you visit your home branch you should carry the original copy of the document with you. You will not be asked to submit the original copy to the bank. But the officials will require it for verification purposes. The bank will not charge you anything for this change.
