How to Enable POS Transactions of Fi Money Debit Card?

Debit cards are losing their charm but there is no doubt that still debit cards hold a good amount of share in digital transactions in India. There are multiple channels where you can use your debit card. One of the major channels is POS. In this guide, I will tell you how you can enable POS transactions of your Fi Money Debit Card.

Once you enable POS transactions you can make use of your debit card to complete swipe transactions at offline merchants.

If you want to complete a POS transaction you have to insert your card into the POS machine. The merchant will enter the amount in the machine. And then you have to enter your PIN number to complete the transaction.

But this is not the case with the contactless or tap and pay transactions. In that case, you just have to tap your card on the POS machine and your payment will be completed. (up to Rs. 5,000 INR)

Steps to Enable POS Transactions of Fi Money Debit Card:
  1. Open the Official Fi Money app.
  2. Login to your account.
  3. Tap on the “Debit Card Icon”.
  4. Select “Card Settings”“Card Usage”.
  5. Swipe down and toggle the button of “Card Swiping POS” to “Enable”.
  6. Now enter your secure PIN to enable the POS transactions.

Keep in mind that you can control the usage of your debit card using the official app of Fi Money only. So you have to make sure that you don’t enter or share your card details on any third-party app or website. (unless you are making a payment)
