If you have not given your email address detail to the bank or want to change your existing one. Then you can do it. You will have to contact the bank to change it for you. In this guide, I will tell you how you can update email address in J&K Bank account.

Here I have not explained any online method using internet banking or mobile banking. But an offline method. So before we proceed further I want you to check if this can be done online. If you have access to your internet banking or mobile banking app.

Then open it and go to the profile section. You can find the Email Address or ID section there. If you find an edit option there. Then it means you can update the email address online. Just enter your new email address there and authenticate yourself.

  1. Take a sheet of paper.
  2. Start writing an application letter.
  3. The letter should address the branch manager of your J&K home branch.
  4. The subject of the letter should be “Updation of Email Address in Bank Account”.
  5. In the body section of the letter explain that you want to update or change your email address.
  6. Further, you have to mention your name, bank account number, and your new email address.
  7. Get a clear photocopy of any of your identity proof documents and make your signature on it.
  8. Attach your photocopy with the application letter.
  9. Visit your home branch and submit the application letter to the bank officials.


While going to your home branch make sure you carry the original copy of your identity proof document with you. You need not submit the original copy to the bank.
