Steps to Change Name in DCB Bank Account:
  1. Take a sheet of blank paper.
  2. Start writing an application letter addressing the branch manager of your DCB Bank’s home branch.
  3. Mention the subject of the letter as “Change of Name in the Bank Account”.
  4. In the body part of the letter explain that you want to update your name to a new one.
  5. Also, mention your bank account number and your new name.
  6. At the bottom part of the letter, you have to mention the document that you are providing to the bank. (Enclosure)
  7. Now take your new identity proof document that certifies your name and take a photocopy of it.
  8. Sign on the photocopy to make it self-attested.
  9. Attach the application letter and the photocopy and submit these two to the bank officials.

Once you submit your request to the bank the officials will verify the details you have provided. Upon successful verification, the name will be updated in the bank records. The bank may take up to 2 working days for this change. While you visit the branch of the bank you should carry your proof document’s original copy. The bank will not ask you to submit it.
