How to Activate Internet Banking in Canara Bank?

  • After opening their website click on the New User? the button which you can find on the upper menu of your window.
  • You will be taken to a new page where all the terms and conditions of use will be displayed to you. Read all the terms and conditions carefully and click on I Agree button which you can find just below the terms and conditions.
  • Now you have to enter details about your bank account.
  • Enter your bank account number.
  • ATM Card cum Debit card number.
  • Your registered mobile number.
  • Customer ID. (you can find it on the first page of your bank passbook)
  • After that tick “I accept the terms and conditions” and click on I Agree button which you can find at the end of the page.
  • You will receive an SMS from the bank on your registered mobile number which will have an OTP. (one-time password)
  • Enter that OTP in the space provided on the screen and follow the on-screen instructions.

      Now without registering your Email address you can’t activate internet banking.

      You can register email address with your Canara Bank account by visiting your home branch.

      If you are not getting OTP from the bank while activating internet banking then you have to contact bank and make sure that you have registered your mobile number correctly.

      If you have not received the OTP then your mobile number is not registered with your bank account. So you have to visit your home branch and get your number registered first of all.

      Once it is registered your can retry to activate it. You will receive the OTP from the bank.

      If you are stuck in between while activating it. Then you can get assistance by calling the customer care of the bank.

      They will help you to get it activated by assisting on the call.

      If you are doing a transaction with Rupay then it will be considered as debit card transaction. And if you make use of net banking then it will be considered as an online transaction.

      To make the transaction with RuPay card there is no activation kind of stuff included.

      But if you want to make the transaction with the help of Net Banking, then you have to get it activated before you can use it.
